Representing top national organizations that advocate on behalf of individuals with learning disabilities, the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities (NJCLD) influences National policy on learning disability issues.

The NJCLD is a national committee representing 11 organizations concerned about individuals with learning disabilities that has been in existence since 1975. The mission of the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities is to provide multi-organizational leadership and resources to benefit individuals with learning disabilities.The Association of Educational Therapists has been an active member of the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities since 2002.
